Applelec LED Light Sheet was specified as part of a refurbishment project for a luxury restaurant space for the grand Carden Park Hotel.
Situated on a 1000-acre estate in the rural countryside of Cheshire, Carden Park Hotel is a fully independent hotel that boasts 198 boutique bedrooms, state of the art fitness suite as well as award winning spa and golf courses.
Interior and branding company WDC Creative provided design consultancy to the prestigious country manor house to create a number of premium leisure and hospitality environments, including the fine dining restaurant The Vines.
For the restaurant transformation, Applelec LED Light Sheet was specified to provide backlighting to the bar area of The Vines. Delivering a sophisticated, illuminated focal point, the light panel was engineered to neatly follow the curve of the alcove design.
Producing gently diffused backlighting, the illumination glistened against the selection of spirts, creating a colour rich wall display. Selected in 2700K LED option, the warm white colour temperature of the light panel is perfectly in-keeping with the neutral, calming hues of The Vines’ aesthetics.

Sandi Moolman Architectural Specification Manager at Applelec Lighting said: ‘To provide
full lighting control, Applelec LED Light Sheet was manufactured with a dimmable functionality and paired with the highly advanced LTECH controllers to enable the backlighting unit to be adjusted to match the lighting levels of The Vines and further add to the ambience of the restaurant.’
